2025 Prairie States Karate Championships

Continuing a legacy of excellence in martial arts.

From 1971-1993 Kankakee was the home of the largest tournament held in Illinois, hosted by Master Burley Wagner. 

32 Years later, The Prairie States Championships have been reborn!! Hosted by Wagner student, Dwight Bossong 5th Dan, and owner of Shorei Ryu Karate Studios. 

1st-3rd places will receive amazing trophies with at least 10 unique Grand Champion awards.

 This is one Event you do not want to miss. 

This is a USAMA rule sanctioned event. PKRA and Lions Karate Circuit, co-point sanction.

UNDER 18 Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced KATA. UNDER 18 WEAPONS ADULT BLACKBELT KATA, ADULT BLACKBELT WEAPONS, BLACKBELT MEN SPARRING, BLACKBELT WOMEN SPARRING
